A Rose in Cooperstown?

Pete's going back to Cooperstown. Unfortunately, not with an invitation quite yet, although that may be coming soon...

Looks like Bud Selig and the Powers-That-Be are almost ready to give up the fight and let baseball's all-time Hits leader join his peers in the hallowed halls of Cooperstown.

Finally...

I hope the guy DOES get inducted. Did he make a mistake? Sure. Has he suffered too long for his indiscretion? I think so...

Rose was banned from baseball in 1989 for gambling on games while managing the Reds. After years of denial, baseball's all-time king admitted in his recent book that he did gamble. I just don't see how his bad behavior erases the precedent he set - passing Ty

At any rate, Pete's going back to Cooperstown, after avoiding Hall of Fame weekend for the past three years (at the request of the league - a show of respect). Good for him. Have fun, Pete!

Let's not forget - Pete was already inducted into one Hall of Fame last year - the WWE...

Ok, I'm off my soapbox, now...
